The Process
01.
Secure your slot
Between 24/07/24 - 11/08/24, contact us for a 20 minute shoot for either 16th, 17th or 19th august 2024 and secure by paying a £5 deposit. Remainder of £15 to be paid on the day of shoot.
02.
Have Photo Shoot
Arrive for session at CNCDance studio (address below). Session lasts approximately 20 minutes. See below for more info on shoot.
03.
Choose Image
Between 24th & 29th August 2024 choose 1 image from your gallery to submit for voting.
04.
Vote
Between 1st September 2024 and 31st October 2024 vote and share with friends to get as many votes as possible.
05.
Competition Closes
1st November 2024 competition officially closes.
06.
Winner Announcement
8th November 2024 winners are announced via social media. Emails are sent out to all winners. Winners then arrange collection of their prize.
The Photo Shoot
On Arrival (at address below) you will be asked to fill in all necessary paperwork, You will then have the option to either wait in reception and watch photoshoot through window or join photographer in the studio for the photoshoot (shoes must be removed to enter the studio).
Little one will firstly be photographed using the outfit you provide on a cream backdrop, Little one will then be photographed using either a wrap or prop depending on their age.
0-3 Months - Wrap
3-6 Months - Basket Prop (you may bring a second outfit should you wish)
6-9 Months - Chair Prop (you may bring a second outfit should you wish)
9-12 Months - Rocking Chair (you may bring a second outfit should you wish)
By 24th August 2024 you will receive a direct link to your online password protected online gallery where you will be able to view, download (for free) and order any prints you may want. From your gallery you will be to choose your favourite image to submit for voting by 29th August 2024

Voting
On 1st September 2024, All chosen images will be posted to the social media pages along with a dedicated gallery on our website for the public to view (all images will be watermarked).
Using The dedicated form on the voting page, Voters will be able to select the name of the baby they wish to vote for. Voters can vote as many times as they wish.

Baby of the Year 2024 Competition Details
Thank you for your interest in the Baby of the Year 2024 competition!
Here are the essential details:
● Promoter: The competition is organised by Debs Photography Studio (also known as Lythgoe Photos), located at 22 Warwick Gardens, Tividale, West Midlands, B693JB.
● Competition Name and Dates:
● Name: Baby of the Year 2024
● Dates: The competition will run from September 1, 2024, to October 31, 2024.
● How to Enter:
● After your photo shoot, you will receive a link to an online gallery.
● Choose the image you wish to submit.
● All chosen images will be published on social media and the website, along with a name per image.
● Voting will take place via a form on the website, and there is no limit to the number of votes a person can cast.
● Eligibility:
● Babies must be under 12 months old at the time of the photo shoot.
● Babies must have participated in one of our baby competition shoots.
● Prizes (for the top 5):
● First Place: Cash Prize TBC (Approximately £200)
● Second Place: Cash Prize TBC (Approximately £100)
● Third Place: Cash Prize TBC (Approximately £50)
● Fourth Place: Deluxe Cake Smash (or equivalent value photoshoot) Voucher
● Fifth Place: 1-Hour Family Photo Shoot Voucher
● Winner Announcement
● Selection of Winners:
● The winners will be determined based on the most votes received. Those with the highest number of votes will emerge as the winners.
● Announcement on Social Media:
● Once the winners are decided, their names or details will be announced on Social Media platforms, specifically Facebook and Instagram. This public announcement ensures transparency and celebrates their achievement.
● Notification via Email or Text:
● The winners will then receive a notification either through email or text message. This communication will inform them that they have won and provide instructions on how to collect their prize.
● Limitation of liability
● The Photographer acknowledges that while they will exercise due care with digital files, they cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or failure to deliver photographs due to circumstances beyond their control, such as illness, accidents, or other unforeseen events. This limitation of liability is a common practice in contracts and agreements to protect photographers from situations beyond their reasonable control. If you have any further questions or need clarification, feel free to ask.
● General
● The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition up to 12/08/24 after this date Competition will run till the end.
● Should Competition be cancelled all deposits will be refunded.
● Only Photos taken and submitted by Debs Photography Studio Allowed
1. VENUE CNCDANCE have kindly rented us a space to run the baby competition shoot to help us efficiently run the shoots. Here are the rules you need to follow while using their venue:
1. No Food or Drink in the Main Studio: Please refrain from bringing food or drinks into the main studio area.
2. No Shoes in the Main Studio: When inside the main studio, kindly remove your shoes. You’re welcome to keep your shoes on in the reception area and watch through the window.
3. Parking: Only park in the Number 8 spaces, avoiding the one directly outside the door.
4. NO SMOKING OR VAPING ALLOWED ON SITE
